Day10: The road ahead

Wednesday, 7 November 2007

Happy double figured anniversary to my diet and blog! 10 days ago I embarked on this adventure into the hardships of cutting to a 6 pack - Just another 46-74 days left to go. The ugliness is that it doesn't get any easier, In fact it gets harder and more and more sacrifices will be made in order to strip off the stubborn bodyfat as the days go by. This is the art of cutting, the acid test! You have to want this in bad in order to succeed.

Moving forward to the present. Today is the fabled...dreaded...Nausiating deadlift day! tonight i will attempt to pull 187Kg from the floor as part of my drive to 200Kg. Do I feel lucky? Im not sure. However 1 thing a little NLP taught me is that I work from a psychology of excellence and reinforce my belief system, EVEN if the belief may not be true. Perhaps my self talk mumbo may help me move this slag iron mountain tonight, then again perhaps it won't! Tune in tonight for the result.

Im hungry right about now! If my willpower was wavering I would explode from my office chair at work, and casually walk to the shop for some Walkers max crisps and a pint of milk to wash em down. Hell I would run and splode through the plaster boarded walls if I wasn't a little depleted on carbs. You can feel this sh*t sitting on your shoulders like a lead weight and the little tingles under your skin. Roll on my 18:00 hours meal for my daily carb fest, mmmmmm!
